Housing Management Analyst: Town of Erie, Colorado

What you will be doing: Under direction of the Affordable Housing Manager, the Housing Management Analyst plays a critical role in housing plan and program implementation by assisting in facilitation of affordable and workforce housing efforts within the Town of Erie. The position requires independent judgment and initiative in performing research and analysis on affordable housing issues and ideas, including grant opportunities, policies, and programs. The Housing Management Analyst assists with managing affordable housing funding mechanisms, seeking new funding, and participating in the development of Town policies that further affordable and workforce housing objectives. This includes but is not limited to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds, Private Activity Bonds (PABs), and when applicable, other state funding. These roles require a thorough understanding of strategic planning processes, policy evaluation methods and land development practices. In addition, this position requires an understanding of state and federal programs, the ability to work collaboratively with local partners and the ability to lead implementation of housing strategies as required.
