Open Space Protection Manager – Part Time – Town of Ipswich

The Town of Ipswich seeks qualified candidates for the part-time (19hrs), non-benefited position of Open Space Protection Manager.  Under general supervision of the Director of Planning & Development, and in collaboration with the Open Space Steward, oversees the Town’s open space plans and initiatives, including: manages the Open Space Bond Program and Open Space, Recreation and Water Supply Protection Fund; and works closely with boards and committees on matters that involve open space interests.

Qualifications

Candidates should have bachelor’s degree, at least three years of experience with land acquisition and conservation, possess strong organizational & communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects & tasks, communicate with constituents effectively, knowledge of GIS, and excellent computer skills.
