Join the growing City of Medford and Department of Planning, Development and Sustainability, a newly formed department combining the offices of Community Development and Energy and Environment and incorporating new work in economic development and affordable housing. This merger is designed to bring the city’s expertise in sustainability and climate change to all planning, development and housing work throughout the city.

Land Use Planner is a professional and administrative position responsible for reviewing and supporting planning and development activities for the city, as well as developing plans and managing open space and sustainability projects. Additionally, this position supports and staffs the Community Development (Planning) Board. This position will also assist in the development of the City’s in-process Comprehensive Plan and will review and make recommendations on development proposals to ensure consistency with the city’s zoning and Comprehensive Plan.

HOURS OF WORK: Full-time (35 hours/weekly)

SALARY: $1,312.57 – $1,533.96 Weekly (Non-Union FLSA Exempt)
