The PVPC is seeking candidate(s) for both planner and senior planner positions, with up to three being available. These positions perform a wide variety of professional planning work in relation to regional planning, with an emphasis in grant writing for and implementing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, infrastructure planning, and other related planning and project management as needed. Position conducts planning studies; collects and presents data and prepares reports; provides information and guidance to the public; assists in grant writing, grant implementation, contract administration and community outreach; and other duties as assigned. Both entry level and senior level positions available in this series. Entry level positions are responsible for providing assistance to higher level planners in the areas of research, data collection, report preparation, presentation preparation and community outreach. Senior level positions are responsible for similar items, with more autonomy and responsibility as part of the position.
The salary range for entry level planner is $43,927 to $57,105. The standard entry point is $50,000.
The salary range for senior level planner is $49,638 to $64,529. Standard entry point varies between $54,000 and $58,000.
