Regulatory Officer/Planner – Cape Cod Commission

This position requires knowledge of regional planning principles and state, regional and local land use regulations in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as general office procedures; excellent oral and written communication skills, public presentation skills, organization skills and project management skills. Ability to participate as a member of a team of regulatory officers, planners, engineers and technical staff; ability to prepare reports; ability to manage projects and work independently.

Bachelor’s degree in planning, environmental science, law or related field; Master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred; minimum of one year of experience in regional planning, land use planning, environmental planning and or regulatory work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
