Invitation for Conference Sessions

The MAPD Annual Conference Committee is looking for initial proposals by or on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 (midnight).

Initial proposals should include the following information:

  • Topic:
  • Moderator (if known):
  • Panelists (if known):
  • Statement of intent (2-3 sentences ok, or more at your option):
  • Format of session (i.e. panel discussion/interactive workshop etc):
  • Length of session (if known):   75 min or  90 min
  • Anticipated eligibility for CM credits (Ethics/Law/General):    Y  or    N

The Committee will follow up after that date for additional information as may be needed to prepare a slate of sessions, then work with the selected moderators to finalize details for the conference program.

Moderators will also be asked to obtain consent from their panelists re whether MAPD may make the presentation materials available online after the conference, as we will only make this info available with the consent of each presenter.

In addition to new sessions, the conference program will include popular “standing” sessions such as the annual review of recent court decisions.  MAPD will also be organizing at least two mobile workshops.
