APA National Conference Boston 2011

The National Conference of the American Planning Association will return to Boston in 2011. The Conference is scheduled for April 9-12, 2011 at the Hynes Convention Center.

The APA-MA Chapter has begun organizing for the conference with a Local Host Committee (LHC) made up of planning professionals in Massachusetts. The LHC Co-chairs are:

  • Bob Mitchell FAICP, Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development
  • Peter Lowitt FAICP, Devens Enterprise Commission;
  • Jennifer Raitt, Metropolitan Area Planning Council; and
  • Kairos Shen, Boston Redevelopment Authority

Within the LHC, additional committees have been started. Additional pages on this site are dedicated to each of the additional committees. Those committees include:

  • Mobile Workshops Committee;
  • Special Events/Hospitality Committee;
  • Local Exhibits/Sponsorship Committee;
