Town of Bedford, NH – RFP Master Plan Update

The Town of Bedford, New Hampshire is soliciting proposals for professional services to assist the Bedford Planning Board in the comprehensive update of the Bedford Master Plan, last revised in October 2010. The new master plan will guide the Town’s land use and zoning policies and long-term planning, but will also serve as an important resource in capital improvements planning, budgeting, and in the consideration of key policy changes in Bedford.  The Planning Board’s objective is to complete the Master Plan and adopt the document no later than November 2019. City of Portland – RFP Sign Regulations

The City of Portland is seeking proposals from a qualified consultant for the creation of new sign regulations. In June 2017, after a two-year process, the City Council approved the City’s new Comprehensive Plan, Portland’s Plan 2030 (available online at: http://www.portlandmaine.gov/1861/Comprehensive-PlanDocuments). Following this, the Planning & Urban Development Department is now beginning the process of developing a new Unified Land Use Code, incorporating zoning, site plan, subdivision, historic preservation, housing codes and sign regulations into a modern document.
