Urban Planning  Co-op Students Available The University of Cincinnati’s Division of Professional Practice continues a long tradition of having students alternate between academic and professional practice terms.  It is an educational philosophy which was introduced to academia at the University of Cincinnati over 100 years ago. The Bachelor of Urban Planning (BUP), a five-year professional degree program, is one of the most well established and respected programs in the United States and has been accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board for 35 years.
