Town Planner – Town of Ashland

The Town Planner is responsible for the performance of supervisory, administrative, technical and professional work in current and long-range planning related to the development and implementation of land use and related municipal plans and policies.  Incumbent is required to perform similar or related duties.
A bachelor’s degree in land use planning, urban planning, landscape architecture or a closely related field with five years of experience; Master’s degree preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification desired. Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license.
This is a full-time, benefited, year round position. The salary range is $65,000-$85,000 commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The Town of Ashland is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
