Land Use & Natural Resources Planner – Franklin Regional Council of Governments

Full time Land Use & Natural Resources Planner position, 37.5 hours per week in the
Franklin Regional Council of Governments Planning Department. The position would be
responsible for working on regional and local projects related to the Green Communities Act,
Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program, Open Space and Recreation Plans,
Watershed Resiliency and Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plans, and other planning projects. The
position is also responsible for working on zoning and land use regulations, including
providing technical assistance to towns on Special Permit and Site Plan Review applications.
Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree in planning or landscape architecture with at least
one year of related work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in planning or landscape
architecture or a related field with 3 years of related work experience. Hiring Range:
$49,000 – $53,000 per year, depending on experience. Submit a letter of interest and resume
