Senior Compliance Officer-City of Providence

The City of Providence is now accepting applications for a Senior Compliance Officer position within the Department of Planning and Development. The Department is seeking a qualified project coordinator to work in support of federally-funded community development initiatives. Candidates will ideally possess knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing low-income urban communities and demonstrate a commitment to the objectives of equitable community development. The preferred candidate will have experience managing the compliance and implementation of federally-funded programs or projects. Job duties include working in support of economic development programs, including the Providence Business Loan Fund and other small-business technical assistance programs aimed at enhancing economic opportunities for low-income populations and entrepreneurs.

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, February 27, 2019. $50,772.24 starting salary with annual step increases up to $57,003.07. Excellent benefits. 35 hours/week.
