The Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC) seeks candidates for the position of Principal Planner in the Community Development and Planning division.

The ideal candidate will have experience in land use and zoning regulations, energy and environment, long-range planning, community and economic development and housing.  AICP preferred.  For a detailed job description, please visit www.cmrpc.org .

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in urban/regional planning, public policy/management, urban design/architecture, or a closely related field and 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.

The starting salary range is between $60,000 and $70,000 depending on qualifications and experience.  This is a full-time exempt position.  CMRPC offers excellent employee benefits, as well as a flexible and supportive work environment.
