Land Use Planner

The City of Medford seeks qualified applicants for the position of Land Use Planner. The position works under the direction of the Director of the Office of Community Development. The successful candidate must be competent in the development of comprehensive plans, land use ordinances, grant writing, plan review and planning studies. Excellent writing, meeting facilitation and oral communication skills are required.

Minimum qualification are a Master’s Degree in City Planning with a minimum of four years of experience in planning and community development. Salary range is CAF 12, $63,274-$73,974.

Economic Development Planner

The City of Medford seeks qualified applicants for the position of Economic Development Planner. The position works under the direction of the Director of the Office of Community Development. The successful candidate must be competent in the development of economic development plans and strategies, developing land use regulations and incentive programs, pursuing grant and funding opportunities, conducting research, reviewing plans and financial data, and communicating with businesses and residents. Excellent writing, meeting facilitation and oral communication skills are required.

Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in City Planning or related field, with a minimum of four years of experience in planning and economic development. Salary range is CAF 12, $63,274-$73,974.
