The Berkshire Natural Resources Council (BNRC) is at a pivotal juncture as it approaches its first leadership transition in 16 years. As a community environmental organization, BNRC’s mission is to protect and preserve the natural beauty and ecological integrity of the Berkshires for public benefit and employment.

High priorities for the new President include the management of daily operations and support for its team of dedicated professionals, engaging with the public to continually inspire participation and support, increasing public awareness of the organization, and promoting the impact of BNRC on Berkshire County and its residents.

Desired qualifications include an interest in and knowledge of conservation, especially as it relates to the Berkshires or similar communities, and a minimum of five years senior leadership experience.
