CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The 2017 NNECAPA Conference Committee invites you to share your expertise and creative endeavors with your colleagues at our annual conference.

The vision for the 2017 Conference is to engage with and be inspired by our host community – Manchester, Vermont – and the real-world planning challenges and opportunities it presents. We want to move beyond the four walls of the conference meeting room, turning Manchester in a classroom and laboratory for what is new and innovative in planning. Inspire your colleagues in the planning community with proposals that explore the most dynamic issues and ideas facing our profession today. We are looking for sessions that will provide a deep dive into a project, topic or experience that attendees will learn from and be able to use in their own work.

Our themes

We are looking for sessions to fit into the following themes or tracks:

What creative initiatives related to food system planning have you been involved with that we all could learn from?
  • Public We will be engaging with our host community by supporting and participating in a planning charrette and pop-up demonstration. Do you have a public engagement success story to share?
