UNION STATUS: NONE STARTING SALARY RANGE: Up to $48,460

The Town of Chelmsford’s Department of Community Development seeks applicants for the full-time position of Conservation Agent/ Assistant Planner to assist with conservation and land use work. Conservation duties include: administrative and technical support to the Conservation Commission, including review of applications and compliance inspections, attend night meetings, prepare agendas and decisions. Planning duties include: provide support on planning activities; assist with data collection and analysis, and research, draft and present planning studies. This position requires GIS experience.  A more detailed job description is on file in Human Resources. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in environmental/land use planning or related field preferred or suitable experience required. Knowledge of Mass Wetlands Protection Act, land use planning required.  Valid driver’s license is required. Applications may be obtained at Human Resources or online at www.townofchelmsford.us.
