Planner (I) Land Use/Environment – PVPC

Proactive regional planning agency seeks qualified and highly motivated Planner to work on land use and environmental planning.

Desired qualifications: previous experience in municipal and regional planning, public engagement, grant writing and project management; strong written and verbal communication skills; data collection, research and analysis; knowledge of Massachusetts and federal programs related to: housing, energy efficiency and conservation, scenic byways, land conservation, smart growth and sustainability. Individuals with 3 or more years’ professional work experience and a master’s degree in regional planning or related discipline will be given preference. Starting salary $40,000 to $46,000 with benefits, depending on qualifications and experience.
