Arlington, Massachusetts is a suburban Boston community seeking a motivated GIS professional to design, develop and implement a GIS system to help the community manage change and development in a built-out, desirable community. The successful candidate will manage Arlington’s GIS transition from MapInfo to ESRI.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Computer Science with major coursework in GIS, geography, cartography, surveying, land sciences or related subject area; a minimum of 3 years experience in municipal GIS. Familiarity with web-based municipal GIS viewer products desirable. Background and/or internship in planning, transportation or community development a plus.  Salary $51, 073 – 59,871.
